Prestashop 1.5.2 Seo Urls issue

PrestashopWhile working on a site in Prestashop, i got Prestashop 1.5.2 Seo Urls issue. The issue i got was that only the home page was working and whenever i clicked on a link, i got forwarded to 404 page not found page. In SEO URLs settings, “Automatically redirect to Canonical Urls” was set to No, and Apache Multiviews were disabled.I searched on internet but did found any solution for the issue. After that I downloaded another site.htaccessfile to match the the two files, and i found some lines missing from my site generated.htaccess¬†file. The lines missing were as below.

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -s [OR]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -l [OR]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -d

RewriteRule ^.*$ – [NC,L]
RewriteRule ^.*$ index.php [NC,L]

So when i placed those lines in my .htaccess file, it started work and i got happy ūüôā . I am not sure if this issue was only with my installation of Prestashop 1.5.2, or it will be in Prestashop 1.5.2. If you got Prestashop 1.5.2 Seo Urls issue, then check if your site have the above mentioned lines, if not, then add them to the .htaacess file and your site will start working.
